I'm with CH - I want to hear the band, not a bunch of whoopin' hollerin' stoners.

but is there truly no consideration for the affect of tone as it travels? I'm talking about stuff like 10/9/82 for example. There are to me some instances where the AUD sounds better pure and simple because there are factors that can't be captured on a strict SBD. now this is the exception but I can list some.

I prefer 1990-09-12 as an AUD. I prefer SBD usually but a good AUD is always fun. Or that epic jack straw from 1987-04-06.

6-24-70 is an AUD. So is 9-6-80. But if a SBD is in the mix, 98.3% of the time it's a SBD. Some AUD's are so bad, they should have some type of special recognition (AUD only sourcing). My vote goes to 5-3-70.
